Superman & Lois Season 2 Final Pictures have been released

The CW has released a set of images for “Waiting for Superman”, the fifteenth and final episode of Superman and Louis‘ the second season. The episode is expected to bring the struggle against Bizarro World and Ally Allston (Rya Kihlstedt) to a climax, putting the series’ cast of characters through the proverbial juicer this season. With the penultimate episode sparking Major Earth’s merger with the world of Bizarro, it looks like things are going to be emotional for the show’s band — and it’ll also bring John Diggle (David Ramsey) into the fold, apart from his sudden Green Lantern-related development in the final episode of Sparkle.

The idea of Superman & Lois’ place in the multiverse has been discussed at length in recent months, especially since the series has remained narratively separate from other projects within the CW’s Arrowverse shows, despite initially being interpreted as being within the same universe. According to showrunner Todd Helbing, the narrative reasoning behind this will be explained at the end of the season.

“All I’m going to say is that I think everyone has this question why don’t we talk super girl or Sparkle Or any other champions, and aside from not being able to do crossovers and wanting to put our own stamp on that property, I’ll just say at the end of this season that you’re going to get the questions you have answered,” Helbing said during an appearance at WonderCon earlier this general.
