The war zone is making a long-awaited change to the gulag camp

Call of Duty: War Zone Season 4 has made a much-anticipated change to Gulag. The fourth season of war zone Live on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. If you’ve played the new season, you may have noticed a subtle but much needed change in Gulag. More specifically, developer Raven Software has finally responded to players’ requests to make the Gulag’s active fighters not hear the footsteps of spectators. A quick search on Twitter shows that players have been calling for this change for a very long time. It’s unclear why this change took so long, but it’s here.

As noted, most players are happy with this change, as many thought it more interesting to hear the footsteps of those who didn’t share more than the footsteps of the people you encounter. One fan of the change says, “I’ve always heard the footsteps of the spectators better than the other man’s. Happy with the change.”

However, not everyone was impressed by the change, citing the lack of realism the Gulag now has. “This is a bad shot,” one fan refuted. “Footsteps should make the experience more realistic. After all that kind of ruin, the point of them being there. You’re fighting in a prison with people watching over you.”

It’s safe to assume that this change is here to stay for the foreseeable future because it’s not only new, but it’s been warmly received. So, if you don’t like the change, you’re probably out of luck.
