Sabrina Spellman is back! Riverdale. The CW has released a synopsis of “Chapter One Hundred Fourteen: The Witches of Riverdale,” the nineteenth episode of the series’ sixth season. According to the episode synopsis, things seem to get increasingly difficult for Riverdale as Percival continues to push his agenda, which prompts Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) to summon another witch – Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) – for help. Sabrina Spellman (guest star Kieranan Shipka) comes to town — when several of its members fall prey to Percival (guest star Chris O’Shea)’s latest plan, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) summons fellow witch Sabrina Spellman (guest star Kiernan Shipka) for help. Shipka’s return to Riverdale Because Sabrina herself isn’t much of a surprise. It was announced back in April that Sabrina’s Chilling Adventures The star will return to Riverdale, having previously appeared during the five-episode “Rivervale” event earlier this season. At the time, no details about Shipka’s appearance were revealed, so this recap finally gives fans some context – and given the threat Percival has posed to Riverdale this season, Sabrina looks like a proper witch to call her.
Shipka first filmed Sabrina on Netflix’s Sabrina’s Chilling Adventures Which ran for four seasons and ended in 2020 and previously told ComicBook.com how easy it would be to get back into the role again.
“I don’t think it’s a small or a big issue. I think it was an issue… It was really fun for me to get back in her shoes because I haven’t done them in two years,” Shipka told ComicBook.com regarding his experience returning to the role. “I was surprised how quickly she took over again. It was like riding a bike and you never know about that kind of thing. I never played with anyone and then I didn’t play, and then I came back and did it again. So this was something new to me. I didn’t know how that would work, and I was just like, ‘Oh, this fits like a glove.’ It was so much fun.”
