The new Need for Speed may have a unique multiplayer experience for the series, according to a new leak. The Need for Speed series is one of gaming’s longest-running franchises, and while the series has faltered a bit over the past decade, EA and Criterion seem to be doing a lot to try and make their latest title the best. However, bigger details suggest that players can start “Encounters”, which allow players to band together and drive around the city and start races as they please. The tracks are described as being unique, with a train running through them as players race around them. It’s unclear if this will actually affect how players move through the track, such as having to stop to wait for it to pass or risk being hit, but it does appear to be affecting gameplay.
