How to set up Chromecast
1. Connect your Chromecast to the TV.
This part of the process is pretty foolproof. Connect the Chromecast to the TV’s HDMI port and USB cable to a compatible port or power outlet. Just keep in mind that if you’re using a Chromecast Ultra compatible with 4K, you’ll need to plug the adapter into an outlet; The USB port does not provide enough power to keep it going.
2. Download the Google Home app.
You can get the Google Home app either through Google Play Store (Opens in a new tab) or the Apple App Store (Opens in a new tab). Most Android devices should come preinstalled already.
If you’re using a Chromecast with a PC, you don’t need the Home app; Just owning Google Chrome Install enough. Visit Google Chromecast and Follow the instructions.
