Jason Schwartzman (Fargo, The French Dispatch) was cast in the previous Hunger Games movie The Hunger Games: A Song of Songbirds and Snakes. According to reports, Schwartzman will play Lucretius “Lucky” Flickerman, the host of the tenth edition of The Hunger Games taking place in the film. Fans of the Hunger Games series Susan Collins will see this title and soon realize that “Lucky” is the ancestor of Caesar Flickerman, the Hunger Games host in the Katniss Everdeen era. She is best known for the role of Caesar in the films The Hunger Games by Stanley Tucci.
Schwartzman’s role as one of Tucci’s predecessors is in itself a hilarious lapse; The two actors definitely have the physical traits to at least look like they’re related.
