He once again brought up the nine-month schedule WWE gave him for his comeback, then turned his attention to Saturday’s Money in the Bank Ladder match. He sang the praises of everyone in the match before finally hitting Rollins, noting what it would be like if he won the bag and trying to recreate his legend WrestleMania 31 cash inflows.
Then he said if Seth could make it happen, “I think I’ll be the first to congratulate him.” Then he got up from his chair and left the interview. Rhodes has made it clear since his return to WWE that his number one goal is to win the WWE Championship. In a way, getting a Money in the Bank contract will instantly make this journey easier.
