Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT has had major repercussions for next week’s NXT Great American Bash, and so far there are five matches planned for the event, with a focus on four of them during tonight’s show. As of now, the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship, NXT North American Championship, and NXT Tag Team Championships are all ready for takeover, odds are we’ll see at least one change of title before the night ends, if not more. We’ve collected all the new matches and everything else we know about Great American Bash in one handy place, let’s start with Title matches.
Tonight’s episode featured a battle to become the No. 1 contenders for the Women’s Tag Team Championship, as winners faced off against Gigi Doolin of the Toxic Attraction and Jacy Jane at the Great American Bash. The match featured Katana Chance and Cayden Carter against Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez, and although at one point it looked as if Chance and Carter had won the match, Jade came with a last-minute block and turned things around, with Perez getting a pin and win to secure Their place is in the GAB.

Staying in the tag division, NXT Tag Team Champions faced the Creed Brothers The Dyad tonight, and although they won the match, the opposition appears to have shattered Diamond Mine, as the faction appears to have exploded, escalating Roderick Strong and Damon Kemp. as the Creed Brothers’ next contender for titles.
Then we have North American champion Carmelo Hayes defending his title against Grayson Waller, who scored the match from his ally with some opaque contracts. Now he will challenge Hayes for his title, and despite their former friendship, Hayes will not stop anything. This brings us to another competition brewing in Wendy Choo and Tiffany Stratton, who will finally meet one another after weeks of back-and-forth at GAB.

Finally, we have the NXT Championship match between Bron Breakker and Cameron Grimes, and tonight Grimes may be giving his most promo on Breaker yet. Grimes said that describing everything to him is not accurate and if it applies to anyone it applies to Breakker, who even if he loses will be taken to Raw or SmackDown. If he loses this is for him, Grimes said, and then he also went to Brecker’s father before the fight broke out. Then he manages to get better than Breaker and the chaos causes an arm injury to the hero, which Grimes will surely benefit from.
NXT Great American Bash will hit USA Network next Tuesday at 7 p.m. CST.
