EA is being destroyed by players after a 1v1 gaming tweet is posted

Electronic Arts has somehow found a way to unite players by posting an incredibly inflammatory tweet. Over the course of at least a decade, if not a little longer, Electronic Arts has found itself as one of video game fans’ biggest enemies. Not only has it rolled out a terrible ‘online’ business model, it has given you access to a multiplayer-only style of games like Battlefield 3 If you bought the new game *or* you paid a few extra bucks to download said card. It also has a history of predatory monetization schemes in some of its games and expressing doubts about the future of single player games.

With all that said, EA jumped at the “They’re 10, but…” meme Every brand is trying to take advantage of it, but they have done it in the worst possible way. EA spoke to those who play single-player games exclusively to the chagrin of many players out there, and it left them wrongly neglected. Given EA’s history with terrible online game launches, their rejection of single player games, etc., players got revenge on this tweet pretty quickly. Many were quick to remind EA that one of its best games in recent memory was Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orderthe beloved single-player game that gets a sequel in 2023.

Others made sure EA didn’t forget it Battlefield 2042 The launch was a months-long disaster that did a lot of damage to the Battlefield brand. Although it probably wasn’t related to the game’s conflicts, it didn’t have any kind of single player campaign like the previous entries. With all that said, EA is being roasted by gamers everywhere. It sounds like a pretty deaf tweet from the publisher, and while that may be the intent so it could spark some engagement, it’s hard not to laugh at some of the responses EA receives.

You can take a look at some people’s responses to EA’s tweet below.
