Disney is selling a $5,000 cocktail on its new cruise ship. Kaliburr Cystal is the name of the drink and videos of it being served went viral on social media. Then we get Camus cognac, Japanese citrus fruit, yuzu, and kum2quat. Along with the brew, there are other bits of ingredients in that gorgeous space-age container. There are some shots of Pappy Van Wink; e’s Family Reserve 23 Year bourbon, Taylor Fladgate Kingsman Edition Very Old Tawny Port. Some other reports say it came with a bottle of sparkling wine from Skywalker Vineyards. (As an added bonus, a coupon to visit the Skywalker Ranch too.) So, there are a few different things for that amazing price.
Star Wars has already spoken to Imagineer Danny Handke about making the lounge. “We came up with this idea, ‘Hyperspace Lounge.’ Think of it as a party ship across the galaxy,” he explained, “We jump to different locations and take a tour of space, sampling cool drinks from those different planets.”

“The visual effects are all new to Disney Wish,” Handek added. “We’ve worked with ILM. Every sequence is almost like a mini-story being played out. You’ll see iconic ships, you’ll see really cool things happen. ILM adds a lot of eye candy and they take it to a whole other level for us, it’s pretty cool. They work in all kinds of eggs. Easter with a little more detail.”
Disney spoke about Hyperspace Lounge in a release: “For the first time on board a Disney ship, guests will embark on a space-jumping tour of the Star Wars galaxy at Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, an upscale bar designed in the luxury of a yacht-class spaceship. This immersive experience with The theme-rich will be reserved for adults every evening, offering interactive tasting experiences and signature drinks inspired by the movies.”
“Coruscant. Tatooine. Batuu. Watch the worlds roam in this elegant space bar with stunning views, where you can sit and sip some out-of-this-world concoctions while navigating around the Star Wars galaxy.”
