HoYoverse is currently livestreaming Genshin Impact Version 2.8 on July 2, officially revealing Shikanoin Heizou’s game and all new character banner replays, weapons, and upcoming events in a few days. You can find our summary of the live broadcast below with all the details.

New Story Quest
Version 2.8 will add a new story mission focusing on Kazuha and his family’s history as a blacksmith. This is something that was explored in depth in a previous limited event in version 2.6, so we will learn more in version 2.8. I highly recommend watching event stories on YouTube through your favorite Genshin creator if you haven’t played it yourself. It contained very important story details for the future, most notably for Scaramush.
Shikanoin Heizou Official Details Revealed – Vision, Weapon, Profile
According to the leaks, Heizou is a 4-star Anemo and Catalyst character. Heizou’s voice actor was first revealed, voiced in Japanese by Yūichi Iguchi and Kieran Regan in English.
Hizu is a young prodigy investigator from the Tenryu Commission, as in Sarah. He has his own ways of doing things, and would rather be on site to investigate rather than take care of paperwork. Kazuha and Heizou are friends and there is a “natural understanding” between them. Hizu prefers using his mind over physical violence and uses it only as a last resort.
Character Banners Version 2.8 . Release Date Revealed
The release of Genshin Impact 2.8 will be a full reboot patch, with the Kazuha banner replay and the Klee banner replay in the first half, and Yoimiya’s banner replay in the second half. Hizu will be available on the Kazuha banner.
