Major spoilers for Weird thingsSeason 4 finale, “Chapter 9: The Piggyback,” awaits, so read at your own risk.
size 2 of Weird things Season 4 has finally arrived, and it was a lot, to put it mildly. The final two episodes of the season are presented around the action, horror, humor and heart that has become synonymous with the widely popular show. But as you can imagine, the installments included a few big victims. Amidst the drama, though, one thing that a number of viewers are now comfortable with is the fact that Steve Harrington has once again made it to the season finale!
You heard it right, Steve Harrington (played by Joe Kerry) is still alive and well. The character, like his castmates, fought a brave fight in the war for Hawkins, Indiana, and many seem grateful that he lived to tell the tale. At least, that’s the feeling one would get after looking at a number of Twitter Posts. One user celebrated a post that is almost a public service announcement of some sort:

The gang from Hawkins, Indiana, find themselves in a deadly war with the treacherous Vicna, during the last two episodes. The group – made up of Steve, Nancy, Robin, Eddie, Dustin Lucas, Max and Erica – formulates a dangerous plan in an attempt to kill the powerful being. In the end, Nancy, Robin, and Steve manage to severely wound him, after they are choked by vines from the Hive’s mind. Knowing that this ordeal was the only moment in the end when Harrington was really in danger of dying, one fan used Succession A clip to sum up their feelings:

Fans were incredibly nervous about Steve’s fate Before Volume 2 and Reviews from the Duffer Brothers didn’t help things. During the first wave of episodes, viewers watched the young man, whom the Internet affectionately regards as the “father” of the group, putting himself at risk several times. This was particularly the case in Episode VI, where he dived into the Lover’s Lake to find a portal that leads to the Upside. When he reached the other side, he was attacked by bat-like creatures that nearly killed him, before his friends rescued him. Ross Dover has dropped a basic theory Related to bats, although it wasn’t quite as comfortable. So one can understand why any fan is now sleeping soundly knowing that the young man is still around:

Steve definitely had one of the most complex story arcs across the board Weird things. He started out as a cocky and bully athlete, and has since transformed into a quirky, mature, honest father-like personality. This trip is a major reason many hate seeing him killed. He is truly a multi-layered individual, and some would argue the best character on the show:

Of course, there is still a question The fifth season, which will conclude the series. There is still more than one sure chance that Steve will be able to die before this saga is over. But for now, let’s just enjoy the fact that “the hair” is still with us…for now.
