The Summer Quick 2022 – or simply SGDQ 2022 as it’s commonly called – was completed last weekend after a week of fast-paced 24-hour video games from June 26 to July 3. As usual at Games Done Quick events, this was done to support fundraising for charity, and the Done Quick 2022 Summer Games ended up raising a total of $3.01 million for Doctors Without Borders.
More specifically, the Done Quick 2022 Summer Games raised a total of $3,016,200 for MSF during last week’s event. In total, this large amount that Games Done Quick has raised over the years since 2010 brings to more than $40 million. In addition to the significant money donated to charities, the Done Quick 2022 Summer Games also marked the first time a Games Done Quick event has been held in person since Awesome Games Dock Quick 2022 in Orlando.

As noted above, the Done Quick 2022 Summer Games raised a total of $3.01 million for MSF. It was also the first in-person gaming event to sprint since Awesome Games Done Quick 202. The next sprint event from Games Done Quick is the Flame Fatales sprint event, a women’s sprint show, from August 21 through August 27.
