The fourth season of Weird things I watched the characters of the beloved series divided into groups and scattered all over the world. There was a group still based in Hawkins, Indiana, where the show had been staged mostly since season 1, but there were also adventures in California and Russia (with stops in Alaska and Utah). Many of the fan-favorite characters weren’t able to share the screen for the majority of the season. Fortunately, the fifth and final season of Weird things That will change.

All the characters return to Hawkins at the end Stranger Things 4 To deal with the massive crisis created by Vecna. A massive portal to the Upside Down has been opened throughout Hawkins, leaving the city in ruins. This is bad news for all the residents we have loved over the years. But the good news is that this event will keep them all in one place for the final season.
“We want to go back to a lot of the things we did in season one,” co-creator Matt Dover said. EW. “There are a lot of original combos and duos we had in season one – there’s just something nice about coming back full circle.”
the end of Weird things On the horizon, but the Duffer Brothers don’t know exactly how they’ll get to that end yet. They’re still working through the final season’s scenarios.
“It is dangerous as a writer to write hours upon hours and not know where you are going,” said Ross Dover. “I’d rather leave some of that middle flight vague and opaque.”
“But as long as you know where that destination is, it kind of gives you that clarity. It’s like that beacon that flashes in the distance…While a lot of season five is actually pretty hazy, the last 30 minutes of it were pretty clear in our heads.” So if we can make the journey entertaining, I think we have an ending that we hope will please everyone. You can’t please everyone, but the hope is that it will be the right thing for this story.”
