In other news from My Hero Academia, the final chapter of the My Hero Academia manga was gearing up for the series’ grand finale, and series creator Kohei Horikoshi revealed last December that the series will likely end within a year if all goes as planned. It has yet to be revealed whether or not the creator has kept up with this potential timeline, but the creator’s special message to fans of the volume 34 release appears to indicate that the series’ final moments are closer than ever.

“I feel like I can finally see a goal on the horizon,” Horikoshi began with the message shared with the release of Volume 34. “It’s a rather strange feeling to get to this point. In the past, I would only paint without a single care [for the future], but now I’m wondering how often can I draw these characters? Change is scary as you get older. Well, I shouldn’t dwell on that! Until the next folder then! ”
