Now that Series 4 is finally coming to an end, fans are worried about The case of one of the stars of the series – Max, after a rather ambiguous ending. Is Max from Stranger Things Now ‘Brain Dead’?

Undoubtedly, Max was one of the most attention-grabbing characters in all four Stranger Things series.
After he originally appeared as a somewhat lonely character in series 2, Max’s character has progressed to become one of the show’s main stars. It has become a fan favorite.
Her story in Series 4 was especially interesting Co-founder Ross Dover He even went so far as to describe Max as the “emotional center of the season”.
But since we’re left with another egotist, fans have been left wondering about Max.

With a three-year wait and perhaps the biggest hype ever for a new TV series, fans have always been anticipating an exciting climax for Stranger Things Series 4.
And did they get one? Well, we’ll say that. In an episode of close to two and a half hours, Max continued on quite the rollercoaster.
In what was truly an act of heroism, Max offered herself to Vicna, so the rest of the gang could try to kill the villain in the real world. Good idea, but it obviously didn’t go down easily.
In order to trick Vecna, Max has to talk about her darkest thoughts and while doing so, Lucas (who has been taken over by Vecna) doesn’t react well.
Max was later attacked by Vecna and although it was not immediately clear if she was dead or not, Lucas later revealed more about her condition.
Is Max brain dead?
So, what happened to Max?
Well, as Lucas reveals, Max is technically dead – but only clinically. She actually somehow manages to make it back, to the doctor’s surprise.
However, all may not be well for Max.
Although she’s not technically gone in series 4 of Stranger Things, co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer confirmed that it doesn’t look good for Max.
In an extract from a file 1 hour chat with Josh Horowitzthe Dover brothers discussed her situation: “She’s brain dead. But she’s alive.”
“(Max) is brain dead and blind with all her bones broken, but she’s doing great,” Ross added sarcastically, with Matt noting that Max “has seen better days.”
So, unfortunately, Yes – Max is brain dead.
Max will be in season 5
So, if it’s any consolation, it looks like Max will be in season 5. Which, after that fight with Vecna, seemed unlikely at one point.
In what capacity though? This, we do not know. If Max’s condition is really as bad as the creators envisioned it, Max might offer very little for Season 5.
Hopefully we don’t have to wait long to find out. The wait between series 4 and 5 is expected to be significantly shorter than the three-year gap between series 3 and 4, with the final series likely to decline in 2023.
Let’s hope it’s sooner rather than later!
