Elvis Presley enjoyed a long relationship with Priscilla Presley throughout the 1960s and into the 1970s. Despite this, King of Rock and Roll also spent a lot of time with other women. He met them, mostly, through his Hollywood film work. One of the most memorable was with Ann-Margaret, whom he met at Viva Las Vegas.
Long before he met Anne-Margaret, he was trying to avoid getting into a serious relationship with Nancy.
Elvis’ complex relationship is detailed in Gary Lindberg’s book Letters From Elvis.
The information was disclosed in private messages sent to and from Facebook. They reveal that Nancy has been trying to prosecute the King for years – despite the fact that Priscilla has always been in the arena.
Nancy arrived at the airport when Elvis returned from his post in Friedberg, Germany, in 1960 after his enlistment in the US Army had ended.
She brought with her two linen shirts for the star. “This is from my father,” she told Elvis in front of dozens of reporters.
Although Nancy was incredibly beautiful, strong, and famous, Elvis had a lot of fear from the Sinatra family.
“Letters from Elvis’s author,” Lindbergh, revealed that Elvis barred everything in front of Carmen Montez, his longtime secret spiritual advisor.
The letter revealed that it was Elvis’ hidden fear of Frank Sinatra that made him reluctant to be with Nancy.
Lindbergh revealed that “Elvis was increasingly afraid of the ruthless tactics of Frank Sinatra and his fellow mobsters.” In a letter, he told Montez that he did not want any foreplay with Nancy because playing with Frank’s daughter seemed to be playing with fire.
Nancy did not stop. She continued to be a part of Elvis’ life – whether he liked her or not. They worked together on the 1968 movie Speedway. She even threw a baby shower on Priscilla. She was involved in many aspects of his life. He soon got fed up with him.

Elvis later confided in Carmen that he “regretted” his choice of Nancy’s “playmate”, adding that he thought she was “particularly dangerous”.
Carmen revealed that he was “afraid of making enemies.” “Especially those in the mafia.”
The King’s complicated relationship is coupled with his stressful experience with Frank.
Given that Frank was such a powerful person in the music industry, he was definitely someone Elvis didn’t want to bother with. And his ties to the mob made him a fearsome figure, too.
Despite this, Sonny West – a member of the Elvis mafia – believes that Frank was jealous of Elvis.
“I’ve always had Ol’ Blue Eyes been a little jealous of Elvis for having dared to steal the teenage idol’s mantle and usurp Sinatra’s popularity,” West said.
“While Sinatra was an idol to millions of Bobby Suckers in the 1940s, Elvis became the foldable standard by which every artist was measured,” added Elvis’ bodyguard.
