A new Terminator game is on the way and seems pretty ambitious. The Terminator franchise has owned a number of video games over the years, some bad, some good, but nothing really great. IP doesn’t have its own yet alien isolation Or Batman Arkham, titles that truly reached the core of their franchises and became instant game classics. Although the last Terminator game, Terminator: ResistanceIt garnered mixed reviews, yet it still developed into a cult following and itch for some fans. However, a new Terminator might set the record straight and give us a game that matches the standards of fans.
Nacon has announced a new untitled open-world Terminator game. The game is set before the events of Doomsday and will feature an original story that builds the story from the movies. As of now, it’s unknown if any familiar faces from the movies will appear, but it doesn’t seem like it’s beyond the realm of possibilities. However, one of the famous “faces” appeared in the game’s reveal announcement. The T-800 is shown chasing someone through some kind of warehouse and it looks like they’re running out of blood. No gameplay has been revealed, but Nacon has indicated that it will be a survival game, which seems somewhat appropriate for the era in which this Terminator title is set. It is not clear how powerful a survival game is, as this dune bashing game is currently in the works as well and is likely to draw inspiration from the likes of Conan Exiles.

There is currently no release date for the new Terminator game and since there is no title for it, it is likely a long way off. Nacon also showed the gameplay of RoboCop: Rogue City He revealed that Peter Wheeler will return to reprise his role as a legendary action hero. Needless to say, Nacon is rooted in video game adaptations of a popular movie series right now.
