Marvel Boss Kevin Feige had to warn Sony about the Spinoff Spider-Man movies

While Marvel Studios is working hard to continue building the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony is actively trying to replicate the success with the Universe of Spider-Man Characters. Although the franchises are developed and produced by rival studios, they work together on the rights to Spider-Man, allowing the character to swing between worlds as he sees fit.

This means that despite overseeing Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige still has his hand in helping guide Sony’s vision. In a new report, an insider says the massive product is providing feedback on all of the Sony properties associated with Marvel. Not only that, but he warned Sony’s decision makers not to move forward in the Sony world of Spider-Man Characters.

“And yes, Marvel’s Kevin Feige weighs in and provides feedback on Sony’s Marvel movies that don’t feature Spider-Man,” Uncle I mentioned recently. “An insider credits Feige with directing Sony’s approach and warning the studio not to get ahead of itself in building a larger world in the context of the Avengers films.”

That same report, from Hollywood insider Jeff Schneider, also claims that Tom Holland has yet to close a deal to return as the web-thrower, despite his assumption that Sony wants the actor back for a second trilogy.

Well, Sony might not have the biggest seat in terms of franchises, but they wisely struck a deal with Marvel Studios to get their very own Spider-Man character into the MCU, helping make the studio’s solo Spidey films a must, even more so,” he continued. the report. And while plans are underway for another Spidey trilogy starring Tom Holland, I don’t think he’s actually signed a deal yet, so those plans remain unofficial for now. However, I’m sure more of Spidey’s adventures with Holland is a top priority for Rothman. and Associates, which is also relying on him as an anchor for the nascent Uncharted series as well.”
