The Lord of the Rings fans have picked up snippets of the new game Lord of the Rings: Gollum Over the past couple of months, but this week, Nacon has shown a clearer look at the project in a new promo for the game. Gollum is shown crawling and climbing across different terrains while navigating around threats in what appears to be one of the longest gameplay previews we’ve got to date.
This trailer can be seen below courtesy of Nacon, the publisher that not long ago acquired Daedalic Entertainment, the studio that developed the game. It’s a short clip showing just over a minute and 20 seconds of gameplay, but given the way the gameplay reveals that ben is sporadic in the past, any reveal is welcome for those looking forward to the game.

Several updates to the game have been shared over the past few years with developers balancing them with things like Prince of Persia, but it has been quiet for a while after it was pushed back to 2022 at the beginning of 2021. With a release date now revealed and the game set to launch on September 1st We may see more teasers and previews like this as this date approaches.
