Warzone 2 weapon update changes, patch notes revealed

Another update for Call of Duty: War Zone It was dropped this week from Raven Software to further shake the balance of the game’s loot collection. But this time, only two different weapons have been modified: the NZ-41 assault rifle and the H4 Blixen submachine gun, both of which come from Call of Duty: Vanguard. These weapon tweaks were the only real changes made, but the update itself included a bunch of bug fixes as well, to address some of the lingering issues.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed collision issues with various items via Caldera/Fortune’s Keep allowing players to tap/peek/shoot through.
  • Fixed an issue causing Pay Respects Challenge to summon more zombies than intended.
  • Fixed an issue that caused mercenaries for the AI ​​Money Mining public event to tunnel the tunnel vision reward systems.
  • Fixed another issue that caused the out of bounds audio and visual warning on Fortune’s Keep to remain stuck on the screen during the pre-match lobby.
  • Fixed an issue in loot mode that caused players who had been eliminated in the Storage City to return to the village.
  • Fixed an issue causing Tac Map icons to overlap with POIs names.
  • Fixed an issue causing some Kali Sticks (MW) layout variants to cause more damage than intended.
  • Fixed visual and audio issues with fighter jet bullet impacts/explosions.

NZ-41 (VG)

  • Recoil recovery decreased by 20%
    • Recoil Recovery is the speed at which the screen attempts to return to the center after each shot is fired. The result of this change is a noticeable difference in the severity of recoil of the NZ-41 (VG) and was originally supposed to be paired with the latest recoil update of the weapon.
  • 8mm Clauser 40 Round Cups
    • Recoil control penalty has now been increased to -10%

H4 Blixen (VG)

  • Lower trunk damage multiplier decreased to 1.0, down from 1.1
