Episode 9 of The Boys Season 3 won’t happen but more is on the way

*Warning: Spoilers ahead of The Boys Season 3, Episode 8*

Each new season of The Boys brought with it plenty of blood-soaked twists and turns, and Season 3 was no different as each episode saw the show’s landscape dramatically transformed thanks to the creation of a new variant of Compound V and the re-emergence of an old sup.

Episode 8 of The Boys Part 3 left fans particularly hungry for more as it was filled with some dramatic revelations, the horrific death of a fan favorite and the ominous suspense of things to come.

Sadly, there won’t be episode 9 in The Boys Season 3, but the series isn’t over yet as Amazon Prime Video has already confirmed what’s coming next.

Episode 8 of The Boys Season 3 arrived on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, July 8, 2022.

titled The Instant White-Hot Wildthe episode proves pivotal as Homelander manages to find his son, Ryan, with the help of Victoria Neuman, and later confronts Black Noir about his father.

In Vogue Tower, Homelander asks Black Noir if he knows about his paternity and when Noir confesses that he hid his knowledge that the boy’s soldier is his father, Homelander appears to kill him.

Elsewhere, Maeve reaches out to the boys after escaping from Vought’s nursery school and she, Soldier Boy and Butcher prepare to face Homelander at Vought Tower.

The meeting quickly turns violent as Soldier Boy doesn’t agree to show Homelander weakness by bringing in Ryan as he attacks, which results in Butcher turning on Soldier Boy in return while Maeve focuses her attention on Homelander, but one of her eyes is cut off in the fight.

Just as Soldier Boy is about to unleash a radioactive blast that will kill everyone present, Maeve deals with him through a window, ending the confrontation in the process.

In the aftermath, Vought announces that Maeve died thanks to her sacrifice when in reality, she has lost her power and plans to live a quiet life with Elena.

Meanwhile, Soldier Boy has been arrested and put to a standstill by Mallory and informed Butcher that he has only a few months left to live after his excessive use of the V24.

The episode ends with Victoria Newman being announced as the new Vice President after Depp sinks the position of the previous incumbent as part of her deal with Homelander.

At a rally for Singer and Neuman, Homelander kills a protester supporting Starlight and Ryan, who had previously hated his father’s aggression, appears to agree.

The Boys season 3 will not show episode 9

Unfortunately for fans of The Boys, Season 3 will not show Episode 9 because Chapter 8 was the end of the season.

Veteran fans of the series will note that these mirrors mirror both Seasons 1 and 2 as the previous two installments of The Boys featured eight episodes each.

After the first three episodes of Season 3 were released at once on June 3, the remainder of the season was followed by weekly new episodes arriving on Fridays until the final aired on July 8.
