One of the biggest criticisms of the upcoming new version of the last of us Also known as Our last part one is that it sounds like a “cash grab”. It’s a $70 version of a game from nine years ago that was remastered for PS4 in 2014. The upcoming remake won’t include any substantial new content for the most part and the story remains the same, as Naughty Dog revealed, so in very simple terms, it’s just a copy Improved and much nicer than a beloved game. This doesn’t mean taking away the hard work involved, but it certainly seems like a high price to pay for this kind of remanufacturing.

As of now, it remains to be seen how much that high price tag will justify to remake an already accessible game. The remake is likely designed to cater to those who haven’t played it, especially people who might be interested in digging into it after watching the HBO adaptation. the last of us In the year 2023. Either way, no one will have to buy the game at full price at launch. Anyone who has ever tried the game can wait if they really want to get their hands on the new version.
