Battlefield 3 Reality brings a whole new experience of familiar gameplay with an intensification of gameplay realism and an emphasis on tactical gameplay. Hopefully, we’re not far off at all!
The unexpected massive failure of Battlefield 2042 at launch forced many fans of the series to leave the new game for good and return to the older Battlefield titles. This was also a great opportunity for a group of mods who have been working on a massive Battlefield 3 mod for a long time.
Battlefield 3 Reality Mod was launched on July 17, 2022, and it brings the same shooting experience in the new dedicated servers where communication and tactics play big roles. The game features a completely new user interface, while the game modes have changed a lot as well.
The main goal of depositors is to make each player rely on his teammates rather than their own skills. Considering the new promo of the game, the game offers more Escape From Tarkov feelings than Battlefield, however, you will still feel the essence of Battlefield DNA in core gameplay features such as gunplay.
To install Reality Mod, you will need to own a legitimate version of Battlefield 3 including all expansions after launch. We hope that the mod will work with both the Steam and Origin versions of the game.
If you don’t own the premium version of Battlefield 3, you can access it with a regular EA Play subscription on PC. Even an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will give you the same access.
However, Reality Mod is an unofficial expansion, and we don’t know if EA has any plans to encounter it after launch. Therefore, we warn you to take into account the consequences of installing an unofficial mod on your legitimate version of Battlefield 3.

If your PC is able to run Battlefield 3, you will also be able to play Reality Mod as it doesn’t bring much visual overhaul to the game.
