Before the end of the Better Call Saul series, Rhea Seehorn got the much-anticipated Emmy nod for her role on AMC’s Breaking Bad.

Good things are known to come to those who wait, and the last person to be rewarded for their patience is Better Call Saul star Rhea Seehorn.

As the show prepares for its highly anticipated finale, Rhea, known to fans as Kim Wexler, may bow out with Emmy under her arm after being nominated for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series“.

Rhea Seehorn’s Emmy Chances Have Changed

Although she has starred in the popular movie Better Call Saul since its inception in 2015, Rhea has not been remarkably recognized by the Television Academy for her contribution.

As we approach the conclusion of the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul, the show has put in an impressive performance 46 Emmy Award Nominationswith Riya receiving her dues only now.

Although her on-screen partner, Bob Odenkirk, was leading the honour. He was quick to share his happiness with Rhea, Twitter: “It’s hard to say how happy and satisfied I am with the nomination of Riya. It’s a caper on a great morning. Thank you everyone for the good vibes this year.”

And Bob wasn’t the only member who paid tribute to Rhea, along with Michael McCain, (aka Jimmy Chuck’s brother), he also took the opportunity to Tweet his congratulations.

Ria’s tough competition

Despite her double nomination, the Emmys will be very tough on Rhea.

With eight actresses in the supporting drama category, there are some pretty big names out there.

The likes of Julia Garner stand against Wexler’s portrayal of her role as Ruth Langmore in Ozark, and succession stars J. Smith-Cameron and Sarah Snook, who play Jerry Kellman and Chef Roy respectively.

Not to mention the inclusion of Jung Ho-Yeon, who played the adorable and lovable Kang Sae-Byeok in the hit Netflix hit Squid Game.

Whatever the outcome, Rhea definitely finds herself in respectable company at the 2022 Emmy Awards.
