From Explosive premiere of three episodes (literally) to “Herogasm” is crazy The episode, to everything else in between and after, boys Season 3 was an excellent addition to the show and not only did it push the characters’ stories, but it had an ending that was really worth talking about, showing why it’s one of the Best deals on amazon prime.
If you want to talk about it boys Season 3 is over and all the choices that have been made—which will definitely affect Season 4 when it comes out—stay tuned and head down.
Hughie chose not to take V24
One of the highlights of the third season of boys It was Temp V, a new temporary version of Compound V that will be temporary for anyone who takes it and it was originally intended for the military, but Hughie and Butcher have grabbed it multiple times.
This in turn led to a major argument with Annie, because Hughie’s way of using Temp V was making him feel strong enough to protect her. Annie, in turn, did not like how he constantly interfered and put himself at risk, and this difference of opinion led to a significant separation between the spouses throughout the season.
When Annie discovers Temp V can literally kill a person and tells Butcher, he decides to leave Hughie behind – by firing him first – before heading to New York with Soldier Boy.
He then met up with Annie, and fully realized what Butcher had done for him when she revealed that Temp V was a killer. While in the car with her, the two had heart to heart, apologizing for going against her wishes, saying that for a long time he didn’t know what true strength was. He tells the story of how his father used to make pizza rolls for him after he lost his mother, and how at the time he thought that was weak. But now he realizes that this was the real power.
In the end, when he seems to be considering whether to take a dose of Temp V to help Annie in her fight against Soldier Boy, he decides not to take it. Instead, he chooses to be there for Annie by giving her more electricity and boosting her powers, instead of taking Temp V.
Maeve chooses to risk her life and her powers to save everyone
Maeve has been somewhat absent for a large part of this season of boys Because she was trapped in the depths of the Vought Tower. However, she is able to break free from custody and work with The Boys, Butcher, Annie and Soldier Boy in order to eliminate Homelander.
However, the Homelander fight soon turned into a fight against both Homelander and Soldier Boy, and Maeve focused primarily on the Homelander. But in the end, when she realizes that if Private Boy launches another blast of his power and the entire building collapses and thousands of innocent people are killed, she sacrifices herself.
She dove into Soldier Boy and pulled him out of the window and that way, his explosion went off into the air instead of the building. While at first it looked like she had been killed, it was revealed that she did indeed survive, but her power was neutralized and the rest of the world believed she was dead.
However, it has saved thousands of lives. Fortunately, it got its happy ending. Eric Kripke, model boysThey confirmed that they never planned to kill her, according to collider.
The butcher chose to fight against the boy soldier
Throughout the season, Butcher has been on Team Soldier Boy’s side because he believes he is the key to killing Homelander, and during The boy soldier was a great addition On this show, he wasn’t the most stable guy. In the final episode, we see Butcher wake up and realize just how messy the boy soldier is.
Homelander’s son, Ryan, tries to save his father when Soldier Boy tries to attack him, but Soldier Boy instead blows Ryan away. Butcher, who has had a complicated run for the entire season, is changing his side at this moment.
Not only for the fact that Soldier Boy publicly attacked an innocent child, but it was Ryan, the son-in-law of the butcher, who likely still felt obligated to protect – even after what he told Ryan in Episode 3, that he was the cause of his wife’s death.
He fights against Soldier Boy next, and has a decent fight with the others. However, it looks like we might not get more time with Butcher, because his posthumous doctor diagnosis in Vought is that he has months to live. At least he changed his team in the end – let’s hope this means he might find a solution next season?
Homelander chose to direct Black Noir to keep secrets from him
Home is literally the worst I support it to this day. Among all supes, he has Doing the worst things and causing harm to many people. So it’s no surprise that he did some pretty shocking things in the season three finale boys.
A major shocker in Season 3 reveals that Private Boy is actually Homelander’s biological father, and Homelander soon discovers that Black Noir has known this information for years. When he returns to Vought, Homelander confronts him about this – and when the Black Noir confirms he knows, Homelander is visibly upset before literally punching the Black Noir’s guts.
It’s a shame, because Season 3 is where we actually got a legit Black Noir story next sitting in the dark Over the past few years, I have learned about his background and why he is the way he is. And now, Homelander had to go and get him out.
There is a development in boys Comics claim that Black Noir is actually a version of Homelander, and fans have been speculating that they might bring back Black Noir this way. But Eric Kripke said there are currently no plans to do so, according to another interview with collider.
Looks like we’re going to have to say goodbye to Black Noir, guys.
Annie chose to become one of the boys
Annie leaving Vought was definitely another huge thing that happened in Season 3 of boys, And at the end of the day, we see her officially get rid of her clothes, and join the team along with Hughie and the rest of them.
This is a huge win for The Boys, because Starlight has recently discovered a new power about itself, which is that if it has enough electricity, it can literally fly, Hughie explained as she turns on all the lights to help her out. With that in mind, you could be an essential part of that team, and all because of that moment. I personally can’t wait to see her as part of The Boys – and see her and Team Hughie together forever.
Honorable mentions: Ashley, Depp, Kimiko and Frenchy
• Vought CEO Ashley saw the camera footage of Maeve while she was alive, but chose to quietly delete it rather than alert anyone in Vought that she was actually alive. Maeve will be remembered as a hero and it is assumed that he will be able to retire in peace.
• The Deep chose the octopus over his wife, so there it is. But he also chose to follow Homelander’s orders to kill the vice presidential candidate, Lamar Bishop, by drowning him in his own swimming pool. This paves the way for Victoria Newman to take up this position – which is also a sup.
Towards the end of the season, Kimiko chose to inject her French with Compound V again so she could help in the fight against Homelander – and later Soldier Boy. The Frenchie wasn’t a big fan of the idea at first, but she knows it’s family, and as long as they have each other, they’ll be fine.
Oh my gosh, that’s a lot to happen at the end, and it sure was filling, but that just makes me more excited for season four. Let the countdown begin!
