A new report is likely to leak prepare the next report Doctrine killer Game. And if the report is accurate, the next game in the franchise is going back in time and into Central America, which would be a huge departure from a series set primarily in Europe and the Middle East. However, while that’s where the series is primarily set, it has ventured out to places like North Africa, the US, and, if you take into account the spin-offs, places like China and India as well.
As for the report, it comes in the manner of Jeremy Pinter aka ACG, a popular YouTuber who has been known to share a report or two here and there. Unfortunately, that’s all Pinter says. There is no information on a release date or even a release window. There is no word of platforms. There aren’t even any details added about the setup. All Pinter claims is that the next game in the series will be the Aztecs.
For those who don’t know: The Aztecs were the Mesoamerican culture that flourished in central Mexico in the Postclassic period from 1300 to 1521. During this time, they dominated Central America, but eventually saw their empire crumble when Spanish conquistadors moved across the region. In popular culture, they are known for their mythological and religious traditions (which include human sacrifice), their rich culture, and their remarkable architectural achievements.
All that said, take it all here with a grain of salt. Although Pinter is generally a reliable and reputable source, it does not change the fact that this is not official information. Moreover, even if it is accurate, it is also subject to change, meaning that it may not remain that way.
