They also put together a big sequel by revealing Thor at the end of the game, who appears to be some kind of opponent in the game.
With the release of God of War Ragnarok in November, Sony Santa Monica has already started talking about the two collector’s editions of the game. According to Twitter account Wario64, the cheapest is simply called the Collector’s Edition and the most expensive is the Jötnar Edition. The Collector’s Edition is said to cost $200, while the Jötnar Edition will cost $260. The main difference between the two is that the Jötnar version includes some additional physical elements such as a vinyl soundtrack, a canvas map, a ring, and some pins. Both include a 16″ replica of Thor’s famous Mjolnir hammer. Unfortunately, despite the high price point, neither version includes a disc of the game as Sony chose to include a digital download code for the PS4 and PS5 versions instead.
