Details about Sasha Banks’ debut WWE appearance and asking price have been reported

It was recently revealed that Sasha Banks (real name Mercedes Varnado) has made her post-WWE debut, which will come at C2E2. In a new report from Choose a fightIt was revealed that following the announcement of her appearance at C2E2, several promoters in and out of wrestling expressed interest in booking Mercedes. While they were told she did not participate in wrestling-related events until January 1, 2023, Fightful was told that the asking price was $30,000 based on opportunity. One promoter told Fightful that the price was “exactly as expected,” noting that her demand must be high because she left WWE on her own terms, wasn’t part of the conference scene, and had a fan base willing to support her.

It was also stated that she was one of the most quoted “non-television” talents and that she was comparable to Sting, with the only more expensive ones being Ric Flair, Goldberg, Shawn Michaels, and Hulk Hogan. This promoter also said that they were more than happy to book it at this rate, knowing they would make their money off of it.

The report also states that this is not a quote in regards to wrestling the match, although it appears they won’t do so until the new year. We’ll have to wait and see how this all goes.

The latest indication of Bank’s status with WWE is that she has been released, despite the fact that WWE and Varnado have confirmed this. It’s also unknown what’s going on with Naomi’s standing with WWE, but cryptic tweets indicated things aren’t great there either.
