Only this week saw the publication of Marvel Comics Daredevil #1, beginning volume 7 of Fearless Man, and House of Ideas is already preparing to release a huge memorial in the series….next month! The upcoming Daredevil series #2 is actually Daredevil #650 when moving on to the series’ old numbering. As a result of this historic figure, Marvel Comics is rolling out the red carpet for a blockbuster issue welcoming the return of some classic daredevil artists and writers to put their fingerprints on the character in a much longer time including Ann Nocenti and John Romita Jr. and Raphael Dellatore, Alex Malev, Paul Azacita, Phil Noto, Chris Samny, Klaus Jansson and Mike Hawthorne.
“It’s not often that a comic comes out two days ago, so…wait, it’s the 650th?! Well in that case I’m over the moon so we can celebrate with many of the legendary daredevil creators!” Series writer Chip Zdarsky said in a statement. “Daredevil is a title that has had so many amazing performances that it wouldn’t feel right to have an anniversary edition without inviting the people who made the book so special for so many years.”
