Captain America’s iconic end game line debuted in Marvel Comics

While it looks like Chris Evans has officially finished playing Captain America, it doesn’t look like the cast’s legacy is going anywhere because the character is going anywhere. Avengers: Endgame The cast’s tenure culminated in the role, with him going back in time and staying with Peggy Carter and getting older before passing the shield. During his final moments as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Sam Wilson asked him “You’re going to tell me about it” before referring to his wedding band and Steve replied “No, I don’t think I would.” Now that exact quote has been featured in a recent Captain America comedy, Captain America: Saints of Liberty #2. Recently, Evans has been running the press Light year And the question he asked the most was whether the actor would reprise his role as Captain America in a future project. The previous actors’ answers were so shy that the actor didn’t say yes or no, and now it looks like he won’t because of the Avengers taking on the mantle. While appearing on the Disney D23 podcast, the actor said his return would be “disturbing.”

“No, I don’t think so. I mean, it’s been a really incredible journey and the character is so dear to me and I’m just so precious with her. To get back into the role, I mean the truth is, the role isn’t even mine anymore,” Evans told the podcast. “The role is Anthony Mackie. So, you know, even if there was a different incarnation, not as Captain America, but you know Steve Rogers, even that would feel… I would be very careful, just because I love this chapter of my life both professionally and personally. I love What these films have achieved, and I go back to them again and possibly have a strange extension of that legacy would be upsetting if they didn’t go down. So, it would require a near-perfect recipe and might not be in the cards.”
