DRX against T1 was a series in which competitors attempted to take down the league’s powerhouses before immediately returning them to their place. T1 continues to be the number one contender for the summer title. Faker, in particular, starred in the series Against DRX.

The series began with T1 building an old-fashioned formula that focuses on carrying with Draven, allowing him to carry the game with the help of Seraphine therapy and armor. However, before things got far enough for Draven to go online, the duo of Choi “Zeus” Woo-je and Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun dominated the upper side of the map, making T1 a big enough lead to finish the game.

Keria champion pool cannot be targeted

Ryu “Keria” Min-seok, on the other side of the map, continued to use his variety of non-descript selections in the series against DRX. This time around, the young star pressed DRX with his flawless performance. Earlier in the league, he tried supporting Lee Sin and made a notable contribution to mid-match skirmishes. His Blitzcrank was just as effective, forcing DRX into disadvantageous fights. T1 put an end to the opening match in the 26th minute with barely a fight put in place by the opponent.

The second match was not one-sided. However, DRX should have banned several heroes that were left open. For example, Oner feels more comfortable with Lee Sin than any other hero and this shows in his early game. The draft stage was tough for DRX, as T1 grabbed some of their favorite champions, like Azir and Pyke. However, DRX got off to a good start by going head-to-head with T1 before collapsing in the later stages of the game.

Faker took the driver’s seat, demolishing team battles by utilizing Azir’s ability to control the area to its fullest potential. With a gold par in the game, DRX was encouraged to take the fight to T1. However, Faker had something to say about DRX’s plans, as he finished the series and completed another perfect week for T1.

KT Rolster secures the perfect first week

KT Rolster changed the course of the elimination race with two important wins over DRX and Kwangdong Freecs. The very popular list is finally starting to live up to expectations. However, KT’s work is far from over. The team must maintain this momentum to make the playoffs. Kwangdong Freecs follow them closely with a record number of 4W-6L. The three remaining teams, Nongshim RedForce, Fredit BRION and Hanwha Life Esports, are likely to be out of serious contention.

General G was tied for first place with T1 after Fredit BRION disbanded. Gen.G will play Hanwha Life next week in the next step in their journey to challenge T1 for supremacy. On the other hand, their title rivals will face the Guangdong Fricks and Fredette Brion as they hope to extend their winning streak.

Week 6 of LCK 2022 begins the summer of July 20 with Fredit BRION against DRX.
