My Hero Academy deals with Bakugou’s worst injury so far

warning! Massive spoilers for My Hero Academia followers! My hero academy It’s getting hotter as the latest chapter of the series has Katsuki Bakugou cured of his worst injury yet! The last war between heroes and villains is entering a new phase as the battles against Dabi and All For One have reached their stopping points at the moment. This means that the focus of the series has shifted once again to the fight against Tomura Shigaraki at the UA Academy’s temporary floating base. When we last saw the heroes in their fight against the villain, Bakugou was attacking directly at Shigaraki with full force.

The previous chapter of the series revealed that the heroes were continuing the struggle against Shigaraki as his new upgraded body made him a monster like never before. It makes it hard for the heroes even to hit hard, and the latest chapter in the series reveals that getting too close wouldn’t be a good idea either. With Bakugo firing himself into Shigaraki at the end of the previous chapter of the series, the new chapter deals a brutal and bloody blow that seems to have hit him more than anything we’ve seen in the manga thus far.

Chapter 359 of My hero academy He picks up right after Bakugo releases his modified final move into the Shigaraki, crashing him into the air. Only in that short period in which he made direct contact with Shigaraki had Bakugo been so damaged. Shigaraki bloodied the right side of his face, completely destroying his equipment. Fortunately, it seems that he was not completely blinded, but his entire right arm was destroyed by Shigaraki as well. Shigaraki seems to have been badly burned by at least Bakugo, but he’s far from anything that could stop the villain.

It’s Bakugou’s biggest hit in the series so far, and it’s a mental blow as well. He realizes that despite his “grand slam” (as he calls it), he is still far from the strength level of the “mainstream” professional champions. It gave him a huge blow to his confidence, and thus will likely only get worse once Izuku Midoriya returns to the scene. So it’s not just a matter of physical danger, it’s a danger to his future and his soul and something to definitely watch out for.
