Ethan Hawke says his daughter and Strange Things star Maya Hawke convinced him to join Moon Knight

Ethan Hawke largely kept smaller independent flicks for the latter part of his career, so it came as a shock to many when it was announced that the Oscar-nominated actor had joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A big reason why Hawke joined the MCU comes from his daughter, the superstar of Netflix Weird things. According to Ethan, his daughter was the one who convinced him to join the Marvel universe and make it his own.
