Prequel postponed from day one until 2024

Horror fans will have to wait a little longer than expected to return to the world A quiet place. Paramount offers everything in the franchise, after both John Krasinski’s films were huge box office successes. A third installment of the main series is in the works, but not before Paramount releases a prequel called prequel A Quiet Place: Day One. On Tuesday, Paramount announced that the film’s release had been delayed by a few months.

A Quiet Place: Day OneFrom Pig Director Michael Sarnosky was originally scheduled to hit theaters on September 22, 2023. The film has now been pushed back to March 8, 2024. This new spring release date aligns with the franchise’s first two installments, both of which were released in the first few months of the year.

Neither Krasinski nor Emily Blunt is expected to appear in A Quiet Place: Day OneThe film will follow different characters at the beginning of the alien invasion. However, Krasinski will remain as a producer. Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller will also produce, and Alison Seeger will serve as executive producer.
