After the Beatles split in 1970, the Fab Four went their own way. Each of them began to release their own solo music and dominate the charts in their own way. George Harrison got his start early with releasing his 1970 album All Things Must Pass.
On this album was My Sweet Lord, a song that was later used to charge Harrison with plagiarism.
After that, the star could not revive his love for music.
Harrison was accused of plagiarizing the classic song He’s So Fine in My Sweet Lord.
While the star — and the court — decided he didn’t intend to steal the song, he lost the lawsuit.
After that, he struggled to find love for the art form again.
He said, “It’s hard to start writing again after I’ve gone through it. Even now when I turn on the radio, every tune I hear sounds like something else.”
In fact, he has not found any love for any music after the decades he has written all of it.
Harrison recalls, “I can’t say I’ve really heard anything as fuss as some of those things we did in the ’50s and ’60s.”
Eventually, however, it hit the mid-1980s.
With the eighties came a new wave of music. Bon Jovi, Depeche Mode, REM, and The Smiths all started and embodied the ’80s.
Harrison recalled, “The last band I really enjoyed was the album Dire Straits on the Brothers in Arms. To me, that was good music that played really well, without any of the bulls**.”

Harrison had a Dhani in 1978. By the mid-1990s, he was a teenager entering modern music, such as grunge and punk.
Harrison later remarked in 1993: “I’m now beginning to get influenced by my teenage son, who cares about everything and enjoys behavior. He likes some old things, like Hendrix, and he’s got a leather jacket with the Disraeli Gears album from Cream painted on the back.”
“For the last groups,” he added. “He played me Black Cruz, and they looked really fine.”
Unfortunately, it seemed as if Harrison’s days of composing music were over at that point.
Harrison released his last album, Cloud Nine, in 1987.
It went platinum, but did not reach any noticeable height on the album charts.
A final record of him was released posthumously in 2002, titled Brainwashing.
