Chef Pii responds to the pink sauce craze after spices take over TikTok

TikTok user and private chef Chef Pii have responded to the pink sauce craze that has gripped the internet.

Videos about the brightly colored sauce first started trending in June before the condiment has caused quite a stir in recent days.

The creator of the dipping sauce spoke after some customers had reviewed the products and raised their concerns.

What is pink sauce?

The Pink Sauce is a condiment created by a famous Miami chef named Chef Pii who has amassed 77,000 followers on TikTok and 40,000 fans on Instagram.

The chef used the dipping sauce to drizzle over tacos, gyros, chicken wings, and other meals, as seen in her videos on the TikTok account @chef.pii.

In the comment of one VideosChef Pii described it as “sweet, spicy, and tangy” and the sauce retails for $20 a bottle.

The condiment was released as part of presale in June of this year and Chef Pii responded to reviews after customer reactions went viral.

Chef B responds to the madness

As I mentioned Daily dotChef Pii spoke after some customers raised concerns that the sauce contained no nutritional information.

She said she was in the middle of a “quality test” of the spices and that she would provide the necessary labels once the product was shipped.

Chef B told the outlet, “I think when you’re great you can’t go wrong, but, I mean, yeah. My team works fast to fix issues. We had some delays getting to our facility and things like that. We had shipping issues.”

“However, we are working quickly to fix all the problems. [We’re working on] Communicate again with our customers who have already purchased the product and communicate with them diligently.”

Chef defends the color of the sauce

in a report from todayChef Pii explained that the color of the sauce has changed since the prototype released in June.

“We did a pre-launch of about 100 units on June 25, and then opened the site on July 1,” Chef B told Publishing in a phone call.

“We changed the color because of the public’s point of view, because they were complaining that the pink was too bright. Then we made it a little lighter. Whatever they judge, these are all models.”

Some customers shared their comments about the sauce with one TikTok user say: “It gives me ranch with a little bit of butter…and something to make it sweet like ketchup or something. Would I buy this again? No.”
