DC fans are only a few months away from seeing Dwyane Johnson AKA The Rock black Adam. The new movie was directed by jungle trip Director Jaume Collet-Serra recently appeared at San Diego Comic-Con to discuss the film. Many fans of the franchise wondered if there would be any engraving. Black Adam and Shazam have a long history, and The Rock has been very vocal about his desire for a showdown with Superman. However, Colette-Serra says fans shouldn’t expect Zachary Levy or Henry Cavill to appear black Adam.

“Despite my problems, I was still a good kid with a good heart – I just loved doing things my way,” Johnson wrote on Instagram. “Now, years later, as a man, with the same DNA I had as a kid – my dreams as a superhero have come true. I am honored to join the iconic #DCUniverse and I am really happy to become Black Adam. Black Adam is blessed by magic with powers equal to SUPERMAN, but the difference is He doesn’t stick to the mark or walk the line.
