Chainsaw Man creator worries fans about the future of one demon hunter

Tatsuki Fujimoto has become a giant in the manga world with their bloody series, Chainsaw Man, which recently returned for its second season. With Studio MAPPA set to deliver an anime adaptation of Denji’s story this fall, the manga responsible for this bloody universe recently shared an interview that has fans worried about the fate of Yoshida, a young high school student who just so happens to be harboring the force from a demon octopus.

In a recent interview, the creator chainsaw man Immerse yourself in Yoshida’s popularity and how surprising it was for the artist:

“I thought Yoshida would rank lower. I didn’t realize he was so popular until my assistant told me, but I still don’t know why. He doesn’t have much background so I was baffled when I saw the results.”

When Fujimoto began to speculate about why Yoshida had gained such popularity, Mangaka thought it might have to do with his “look.”

If you’re not familiar with Yoshida, the demon hunter has made a pact with the “octopus demon,” allowing him to summon octopus tentacles out of nowhere while also being able to scatter some ink to blind enemies on his way. With every pact that man makes with Satan, there is a price that man pays for these new powers, although the price for Yoshida has yet to be revealed in the Right Man of the Saw.

In the last chapter of chainsaw man Part Two, we see Yoshida “reunite” with Asa, not knowing her current status as a War Demon, as part of their school’s “Demon Hunter Club”. While Yoshida hasn’t taken any risks in this new episode, this interview definitely has fans worried about Fujimoto’s surprise of his popularity.

adaptation of anime chainsaw man It’s due to arrive this fall from Studio MAPPA, although the release date is still anyone’s guess.
