Scott is somewhat at the center of his brother’s clan, even though he is his mother, the first child of Jacelyn Reeves.
Jacelyn was a Hawaiian-based flight attendant in 1985 when Clint was still married to his first wife Maggie Johnson.
While Clint and Gaslyn were never officially married, they lived together for about five years, raising Scott and his younger sister Catherine.
In 1990, the couple announced their separation when Scott was barely four years old, and the children would remain with Reeves in Hawaii for most of their childhood.
While Scott didn’t see his father very often as a child, that doesn’t mean Clint wasn’t a father figure.
Speaking to Men’s Journal in 2018, Scott asked for a break on his father’s behalf, saying “he used to shoot two or three movies a year.”
