Marvel Studios delivered an embarrassment of fortunes in terms of upcoming movies and TV shows when they gathered in front of their fans Saturday night in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con. The future has become clearer regarding Stories we can expect in Marvel Phase 5. We also know a little bit about Marvel’s Phase 6, including titles The next two Avengers movies. Heads were spinning with the new details that once the dust settled, we realized Deadpool had been cut out of the fun. What gives?
None of us are looking to complain, after all the ads that came on Saturday. But fans of Mercenary Ryan Reynolds were probably hoping to hear something more important confirmed Deadpool 3. Deadpool is one of the characters coming to the MCU next Disney took over the 20th century and all of its possessions. And while the action was incredibly slow in the third Deadpool movie, the news that Reynolds’ frequent collaborator Sean Levy was on board to lead the sequel made most of us think its release date might come from Comic-Con.
When you look at what has been announced, only one of the Fox properties has been confirmed to be part of Marvel’s Phase 5 and 6, and that is The Fantastic Four. This makes some sense, to say the least. We met a copy of Reed Richards (played by John Krasinski) at last Doctor Strange in a multiverse of madness. This means that there are versions of the Fantastic Four in our universes, on other Earths. So it will be interesting to see how Marvel handles the team’s origins, which are documented at length on screen, and need not be replicated (in the way that Spider-Man: Homecoming Skip MCU Peter Parker’s story beats).
So where does that leave Deadpool 3? Given the fact that Fox’s connections in the MCU are limited, I think Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is keeping those relationships — including the possible introduction of the X-Men — for the D23 celebration in September. We know the term “boom” caused a stir when it was dropped in the last episode of Mrs. Marvell. And when Kevin Feige brought up the characteristics slide for the sixth stage, there were a lot of gaps around it The Fantastic Four and the two Avengers films that will conclude the Multiverse saga. Can we pencil Deadpool 3 In one of those slots? It would be great to see former Fox characters, who have always been Marvel characters, take over the MCU leading up to the Avengers films that will conclude the saga. And a third Deadpool movie that will have time to develop better, figuring out where it fits into the overall narrative.
Until we find out where Deadpool 3 It will land, which will likely be announced Active Social Media Channels of Ryan ReynoldsFollow our guide to Upcoming Marvel Movies To stay up to date with the latest announcements and changes.
