July is coming to a close and we have another hour of Spotlight before a new batch of events arrive in Pokemon Go.
During the last Spotlight Hour of July, players will receive Meditite as the premium Pokemon. The event kicks off at 6pm and will last for an hour. This event starts in local time which means that players in some regions like New Zealand will have it earlier than others. For the hour the event lasts, Meditite will often appear in the wild. Fans were pretty disappointed after last week’s shows, but Niantic has new Pokemon for players this week. Not many may have Pokemon, so it’s a great opportunity for players to add it to your collection.
When it comes to this week’s rewards, players will get twice the experience points they normally get. If you want to level up fast, this is a good opportunity to use your Pokemon candy. As usual, this is not limited to only featured Pokemon, so you can evolve any Pokemon and keep getting rewards.
Last but not least, in regards to the shiny mode of the Pokemon, there is a shiny version of Meditite already in the game. Brilliant Meditite is very easy to spot in the wild, as it has a red appearance compared to the blue appearance of the regular variant.
