Made In Abyss Season 2, Episode 4 is just around the corner, which means it’s time to set out on another adventure with Riko and Reg.
The new season, titled Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, began airing July 6, 2022, with brand-new episodes released every week. It was also announced that the current season will run for 12 episodes, which means fans will get one less episode this time around compared to the previous season.
Made in Abyss manga is still in progress and is currently in its eleventh volume. This means there is still plenty of content left for the creators to cover if they go for more seasons in the future. Given the show’s popularity, there’s no reason why the creators shouldn’t continue the series.

Riko, Reg, and Nanchi search for the White Whistle, and Majikaji takes them to where the craftsman remodels it to use its full potential. Then the magicage toured the village. The village is protected from the curse, but the hollows that live in the village still cannot leave. One of the Cavs starts playing with Meinya and infects her. Riku is upset after the accident, who activates the village’s defense system and acquires the members of Hulu to make up for the lost value of Minya.
The team gets tired of the tour and rents a hostel to take a break. But due to the poor quality of the food in the hostel, Rico gets sick. Meanwhile, Vapota, Princess of Hollows, appears outside the village. Reg realizes that Faputa is the one who is stealing Riku’s white whistle, so he heads outside and meets Faputa and her robot Gaburoon. At the end of the episode we see a glimpse into the past as Ganga reaches the sixth layer and encounters some robot beings.
