Now that Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty Confirmed to appear on MultiVersus Along with his grandson and adventure companion, Morty Smith, people have been looking forward to the characters’ arrival and have been speculating what they will play once they are added. There’s apparently one thing we don’t have to wonder about anymore and that’s what types of skins Rick will have when added to it MultiVersus. A recent leak suggests – assuming it’s accurate and that things don’t change between now and the time of Rick’s release – that the character’s alternate skins will be callbacks for some fan-favorite looks from Rick and Morty loops.
Leaked skins were shared inside MultiVersus subreddit with youtube channel Ottavio Silva Fonseca Attributed to the source. The video actually precedes the official announcement of Rick’s entry MultiVersusHowever, both Rick and Morty were among the characters that were leaked before the game’s beta launch, so it’s not like they’re a totally unexpected reveal.
From left to right, we have Rick’s default skin, Gundam Rick’s appearance from the “Promortyus” episode, Pickle Rick’s iconic costume from the episode of the same name, and a SEAL Team member Rick from “The Rickshank Rickdemption.”
Again, these leaks have yet to be verified, but MultiVersus It’s been a pretty leaky game so far with some theories and early detection of accuracy, so there’s enough reason to believe we’ll actually see these skins added to the game. Pickle Rick has always seemed like a given, so whatever the game’s ultimate skins look like, we’ll probably see that at some point.
And if these skins hint at what was planned for Rick, then we can expect Morty to have some similar cool looks that hint at his most iconic appearance. For those who may have missed the initial announcement, Rick and Morty aren’t actually paired characters despite what the reveal might suggest. They are separate fighters that have their own distinct playstyles which means buying separate skins as well.
MultiVersus It’s now in open beta form with Rick slated to release sometime after Morty during Season 1.
