The online retail giant has just revealed a new way to order PS5 in the UK that should help PlayStation gamers avoid the usual rush to secure an order when limited stocks are available. Amazon UK has added a new ‘Request an invite’ button to the PS5 page.
This new feature is available for high demand items, where customers have to request an invite in order to be able to order the product.
Amazon says not all orders will be granted, but this new system should help ensure real customers – not bots – snap up stock as well as avoid typical scenarios where there’s a big rush to buy the PS5 when stock becomes available, and it sells out. Within minutes.
To request an invitation to buy PS5 on Amazon UK, simply head over to PlayStation 5 product page Then click Request Invitation.
This changes the way Amazon previously handled PS5 orders, with the online retail giant in the past giving “priority” access to Amazon Prime members.
If you want Amazon to also offer monthly payments so you can spread out the cost of your PS5.
One of the options available is 12 monthly installments with 10.9 percent APR which will cost £39.75 a month.
