Fortnite developer Epic Games is about to introduce another new crossover game for the very popular Battle Royale. The next Fortnite Item Shop update adds WWE Superstar John Cena to the game. The John Cena Item Shop Pack will launch in time for this weekend’s Summerslam event (for which John Cena is not currently booked), with a release date of July 28. However, due to time differences, UK fans will be able to grab the bundle when the Item Shop refreshes at 1AM GMT on July 29th.
According to Epic Games, the John Cena pack contains both portal outfits and ring gear outfits. Specifically, this means that you can choose to play as John Cena with his signature jersey on or off.
John Cena’s complete package also contains WWE Championship Title Back Bling, Five Digit Slapper Pickaxe, and U Can’t C Me Emote.
The first WWE-certified Fortnite crossover was announced on Epic Games’ website, along with a description of what to expect.
As part of the Epic SummerSlam, 16-times Champion John Cena gives opponents a position adjustment in Fortnite.
“John Cena Outfit is available in the Item Shop beginning July 28 at 8 p.m. ET, complete with entrance gear and Ring Gear patterns.”
No, Outfit doesn’t actually have a masking feature, but matching accessories will be available for it!
Also coming to the Item Shop are more items from the John Cena Collection: WWE Championship Back Slip (included with outfit), Five-Digit Open Knife Pickaxe, and U Can’t C Me Emote (pictured above…if you can see it) .) Make your opponents no match for Big Match John!”
Additional WWE-themed items and events coming to other Epic Games like Fall Guys and Rocket League.
Asuka, Xavier Woods, and The Undertaker outfits will be available in Fall Guys, while Roman Reigns or John Cena Decals are coming to the Rocket League.
Expect items to be available all weekend.
