My Hero Academia Cliffhanger embodies the best thing about Bakugou

final arc My hero academy pits the UA Academy champions against the forces of All For One for the last time. With each of the crime fighters facing their own unique challenges, Bakugo fights in this final arc against Shigaraki one-on-one and while he may be out of his league, the final chapter shows his best quality. Throughout the history of the Shonen franchise, Bakugo has come a long way since its early days and it’s clear that even as he faces insurmountable odds, his character remains intact.

warning. If you haven’t yet read the last chapter of My hero academyChapter 360, you might want to get away completely because we’re going to dive into spoiler territory.

Although Bakugou recently revealed his new untamed technique to give him a boost against Shigaraki, the heir apparent to All For One is able to dismantle the explosive young hero, not only physically but mentally as well. In the final chapter, the opponent pulls no punches when it comes to stabs at Bakugou’s character:

“You once said that you’ve always admired All Might’s victories. Well, it’s time for a reality check, Katsuki Bakugo. No matter what heights you reach, you’ll never be more than Izuku Midoriya folds over a fish in One For All Awakes.”

Fortunately for Bakugou, he was saved from Shigaraki’s deadly attacks by the Big Three, as they fought side by side for the first time in Shonen manga history. With Bakugou’s former teacher, Best Jeanist, trying to make sure his former ward is okay, Katsuki appears in a semi-rigid state while also muttering what appear to be combat strategies to himself.

Ultimately, Bakugo’s Quirk makes him one of the strongest members of Class 1-A, but in his resilience and tenacity we can see the true strength of a Deku rival who has come an exceptionally long way since then. My hero academy I started for the first time.
