Rick and Morty Creator Hypes Season 6 as ‘Amazing’

Rick and Morty Season six is ​​scheduled to hit Adult Swim on September 6 this fall. While the story for the new season is still shrouded in mystery, a recent interview with co-creator Justin Roiland saw the voices of Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith on Season 6 of the surreal series describing the episodes as “amazing.” With Season 5 coming to an end with an event that changed the world of the Adult Swim series, there are definitely plenty of interesting areas to cover for the upcoming installments.

In an interview with IGNIn this article, Roiland discussed how Season 6 would play on events from the series’ past while also being a “quality season” at the end of the day:

“I’ll say it’s milder. It really rewards the fans of the show who’ve been watching up until this point, I think we kind of finally got back to the rhythm of Rick and Morty, and I think season six is ​​like that… I didn’t particularly think that season five was that bad, but Season 6 is amazing. It really is the season of quality.”

During the interview, Roiland also took the opportunity to share his favorite five episodes of Rick and Mortywith the list consisting of Total Rickall, Rixty Minutes, Big Trouble in Little Sanchez, The Ricks Must Be Crazy, and M. Night Shaym-Aliens.
