Davis downplayed the alleged incidents in question, and suggested that distance and unpaid child support had more to do with it. And now, he’s given an update on the previously fraught relationship before his and Shay’s wedding.
The last we heard was that Scheana Shay was actually helping facilitate healing conversations between Brock Davies and his ex-wife over the phone. Davis added at the time that the only thing stopping him from being reunited with his kids was paying off the child support he still owed. We were able to talk to the children. We just have to slowly build this relationship on the terms of the children and their mothers. They are definitely excited to have us with us and be involved and in fact they keep showing up. So this is the best part.
It still doesn’t seem like the most ideal situation, especially with the couple’s wedding in Cancun scheduled for the end of August. However, Chyna Shay, who once admitted that Brooke Davis’ past is filled with “red flags,” recently said that her half-brothers and 14-month-old daughter Summer Moon have been invited “of course” to nuptials. Whether they would attend does not seem certain as Shay continued that it was “a lot” – most likely an indication of the remaining family baggage to work on. Davis said, however, that they might visit his children after the fact:
We’ll get there eventually. And when we get home, we’ll celebrate with them.
About the wedding itself, Scheana Shay shared in 2021 that she wanted it to be a huge party—originally in Bali, where she and her beau initially said they loved each other. The location has obviously changed somewhat, and it’s not clear if the show’s cast was invited or if that also changed after the season nine drama. We know that a bit of guest list drama has already hit co-star Stacey Schroeder regarding her recent second Italian wedding on Bo Clark, so Shay might want to think about that…
