Sophia Carson (Effie)
Now, before she joined the cast of Descendants, the Colombian-American actress had already made strides in the filming industry. Her first television appearance was on the Disney Channel, where she appeared as a guest star on the series Austin & Ally.
Soon, she is joined by descendants after being presented as the daughter of the Evil Queen. Then Sofia reprized her role in subsequent films.

2022 was a very big year for the singer. She was in many released projects such as Machine Gun Kelly’s Good Mourning. She is joined by Becky G, Megan Fox, Avril Lavigne, Pete Davidson, and Snoop Dogg, among other celebrities. The 26-year-old actress also joined forces with Ashton Kutcher in the black comedy “Vengeance”.
Dove was cast for The Powerpuff Girls as Bubbles. Her upcoming movie “Field Notes on Love” is expected to be released next year.

Cameron Boyce (Carlos)
Cameron has been active in the entertainment world for a decade. The world grieved after the news of Cameron’s death. The actor died at the age of 20 in his sleep after developing complications from epilepsy. It came before the premiere of his “last project,” the third sequel to Descendants in 2019.
At the time, his family said he died in his sleep “due to an epileptic seizure that was the result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated.”
In the following years, Cameron’s various projects were launched posthumously. Wicked Woods: A Descendants Halloween Story and Mrs. Fletcher were released the same year he died.

During and after his years in the Disney Channel original film, the actor appeared in several projects. Most notably in the X-Men and Twilight. Booboo’s fame took a new level after his role as Jay in the Descendants trilogy.
After Descendants finished, he starred in more than a dozen projects as part of the cast, these projects now include Pitching Tents, Descendants: Wicked World, Good People, Let Him Go, Paradise City, Guardians of Luna, and currently Good Trouble.
Earlier this year, the 29-year-old actor celebrated the release of his first movie as the main character outside the Disney Channel, on “Those Who Walk Away” and “Dead Dad.”
China Anne McClain (Uma)
The actress had a long career on the Disney Channel, and her appearance in the movie Descendants was the cherry on top.
From 2018 to 2021, China was interpreting the role of Jennifer Pierce, also known as Lightning, in the superhero series Black Lightning. Although she left the series and reprized her role with Laura Kariuki, the actress returned at the end of the series.
The 23-year-old actress reprized her role as Uma in the special Descendants: The Royal Wedding.
Her music career also took off thanks to the Disney Channel. She formed a band with her sisters Lauren and Sierra called “McLean”.
China and her sister Lauren started a YouTube account called Lauryn & China. The two will be posting all kinds of videos and challenges. The channel is now called “thriii” and has more than 706,000 subscribers. Her last video was an original song called My Sanity (quarantine movie) in 2021.

Anna has appeared in shows such as Odd Squad, Under the Sea: A Descendants Story, Spring Breakway, Fast Layne, and Zoe Valentine. In 2019, Anna won her first award at the Canadian Screen Awards for Best Performance in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series in a Solo Ensemble.
Although her fame started in the movie Descendants, the 19-year-old actress rose to fame after appearing in the Netflix movie ‘All The Boys I Loved Before’ alongside Noah Centineo and Lara Condor.
Her character as Katherine ‘Kitty’ Song-Covey will feature her story in the upcoming Netflix series ‘XO, Kitty’. It will be a popup from TATBILB.
